Sound & Light Crew meeting TODAY in Mr. Allred's room at lunch time. All crew members are required to attend to discuss training and upcoming events. Crew members who miss the meeting may be dropped from the crew. Lunch will be served.
If you took the ASVAB, please come to Mr. Jones classroom during third hour on Tuesday to get your scores and find out what they mean.
If you know you need to attend summer school, please pick up an application from your counselor.
Whether you plan to work, go to college or serve a mission, immunizations are recommended and may be required. BE PREPARED!! Mark your calendar for the Senior Immunization Clinic on April 21 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. You will need a parent permission form (available at the office), immunization record, and copy of your insurance card. For more info, contact the Southeastern Idaho Public Health 208-852-0478.
Election Week will be April 25 – 28th. The election process has changed. There has been an email sent to each student explaining the changes. Please look over it and feel free to ask any existing exec member or Mrs. Knapp any questions you may have. Petitions for the different offices can be picked up at the office. They must be turned in by Thursday, April 21st. Students running must have AT LEAST a 2.5 GPA and maintain that though the course of the year. Those who run for Student Body President, Student Body VP, and Mascot must be seniors during the 2016-17 school year.
You are invited to attend an informational session with Matt Fuller, from BATC Automated Manufacturing and Robotics Program, addressing a new course offered here at PHS that will start students on a pathway to a BATC certificate and an AS at USU in Automated Manufacturing - a field that is in very HIGH demand in our communities. Students can get hands-on experience here in high school and are welcome to attend BATC in the summers to help expedite their progress. Please join us on Thursday, April 14, at 5pm in the PSD board room to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
The Sci-Fi Club Art Contest is underway. Entries can be in any medium (pastel, clay, paint, digital, sketching, etc.) but must be Sci- Fi or Fantasy themed. Must be school appropriate with minimal gore. They will be due May 5th and must be turned in to Mr. Ormond or one of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy presidency. Good luck!
National Honor Society meeting TODAY last 15 minutes of lunch in Mrs. Hayes' room. Final dates will be discussed. If you haven't gotten your 3 meetings outside the mandatory meetings in, this will be the last one.
Sign up for a time to try out for next year’s Acapella Choir and Ladies Ensemble. Sign-up sheets are on Mr. Seare’s door.
If you are interested in playing intramural 3-on-3 basketball during lunch, please sign up at the office.
Registration for all upcoming summer Driver's Ed classes is going on now through April 20th. Registration is online and must be completed by a parent or guardian. Applicants must be 14.5 years old before the first class.
