STATE SEND-OFF FOR WRESTLERS
We will have a State send off for wrestlers at the end of 3rd hour TODAY. Please allow percussion members from Band out at like 11:00AM to get ready. The percussion and wrestlers need to be to office by 11:10AM.
Please bring your 3rd hour classes down to line the main hall to support them as they head off to State by 11:10AM.
Are your parents or grandparents members of Valley Wide Cooperative? Apply for a $1,000 scholarship by March 17th. Pick up an application from Mrs. Gregory, or from the Valley Wide Cooperative location in town. Any accredited school or area of study will be considered.
If you're heading to an Idaho school after you graduate, be sure to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship through the Idaho State Board of Education. The deadline is next week; please see Mrs. Gregory for details!
Seniors who are planning on studying BUSINESS in college should apply for the Elwell Business Scholarship. There will be an informational meeting Monday during nutrition break in Mrs. Hayes classroom, room number 508.

Bennett Cup will be held April 19th (piano & instrumental) and 20th (vocal & strings). Registration papers are now available at the office.
You may compete in more than one area.
The April ACT is coming up fast! Sign up now for the ACT prep class to help improve your score. Cost is $25, Class is Mon, Tues, Wed from 7-8 am. Pay at the office. See counselors if you have any questions.
Baseball tryouts will be this Friday and Saturday @ 6:00 AM in the old gym.
All girls interested in trying out for softball this year, there will be a meeting in Mr. Ormond's room TODAY at 4:05pm. We will discuss expectations and procedures for tryouts as well as the season. Tryouts will be held on Friday February 24 from 9-10:30am for Seniors and Juniors, then from 10:30am-noon for Freshmen and Sophomores. We will also hold a joint tryout on Saturday from 9-11am. See you then!
There will be a preseason track and field meeting for all Freshmen TODAY right after school in Coach Lyon's room. If you cannot make it to your meeting you need to talk to Coach Lyon or Coach Taylor ASAP. First practice is this Friday at 9am. We will also have practice Saturday morning at 9am.
USU COMMUNITY NIGHT
USU is having their annual Community Night on Thursday, February 23rd, 6:00 – 8:30 PM, and the Taggart Student Center. There is free parking and a shuttle from the Maverick Stadium. Bring engineering to life for kids, educators and parents through interactive activities.
