RISING STARS SOFTBALL
A new softball league for mentally & physically challenged youth from 6th – 12th grade is being organized. We are looking for students (7th – 12th grade) to help. Each special needs player will have a volunteer buddy who will commit to teach and help players learn and enjoy the game of softball. If you are interested in being a part, please pick up a registration form at the office or contact Olivia Cannon.
Anyone interested in playing boys basketball next year, there will be a meeting TOMORROW @ 12:30 in Coach Jones’s room. Also, a reminder to those who still need to turn in uniforms, please do so ASAP!

If you would like to make a teacher appreciation poster for the elementary school teachers, we need more volunteers. Anyone interested, see Mrs. Hayes for details. Posters need to be completed and to Mrs. Hayes by next Tuesday, April 26th. National Honor Society Students that signed up to do a poster MUST have those done and to Mrs. Hayes by Tuesday, April 26th. If you don't remember the teacher you signed up for, see Mrs. Hayes.
HIGH SCHOOL RODEO
This Friday and Saturday High School Rodeo will be in Pocatello at the fairgrounds. Friday’s start time 5:00 PM and Saturday events will begin at 10:00 AM.
If you know you need to attend summer school, please pick up an application from your counselor.
Whether you plan to work, go to college or serve a mission, immunizations are recommended and may be required. BE PREPARED!! Mark your calendar for the Senior Immunization Clinic THURSDAY from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. You will need a parent permission form (available at the office), immunization record, and copy of your insurance card. For more info, contact the Southeastern Idaho Public Health 208-852-0478.
Election Week will be April 25 – 28th. The election process has changed. There has been an email sent to each student explaining the changes. Please look over it and feel free to ask any existing exec member or Mrs. Knapp any questions you may have. Petitions for the different offices can be picked up at the office. They must be turned in by Thursday, April 21st. Students running must have AT LEAST a 2.5 GPA and maintain that though the course of the year. Those who run for Student Body President, Student Body VP, and Mascot must be seniors during the 2016-17 school year.
The Sci-Fi Club Art Contest is underway. Entries can be in any medium (pastel, clay, paint, digital, sketching, etc.) but must be Sci- Fi or Fantasy themed. Must be school appropriate with minimal gore. They will be due May 5th and must be turned in to Mr. Ormond or one of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy presidency. Good luck!
Registration for all upcoming summer Driver's Ed classes ends this TODAY. Registration is online and must be completed by a parent or guardian. Applicants must be 14.5 years old before the first class.
