SOURCES OF STRENGTH
We will be having a meeting for all those students involved in Sources of Strength at the beginning of 3rd hour on Thursday. Please meet upstairs by the ping pong tables.
NAT’L GUARD BBQ
Monday, November 21st during lunch there will be a free BBQ at the National Guard Armory on the North end of town. If you will be attending, please sign up in the office. There will be military vehicles and weapon systems on display. Raffle items with free SWAG give away. The school will have a bus to transport if there are enough students needing a ride to armory.
FFA HARVEST BALL
The FFA will be having a Harvest Ball this THURSDAY from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Robert’s barn in Fairview. Mr. Crossley and Mrs. Wells have maps if you need one. Admission is one can of food or an unopened food product to donate to the local food bank. This is for all FFA members and bring a friend!
Those interested in joining BPA, the last day to pay the $25 dues will be TOMORROW. Please pay your dues at the office and take your receipt to Mrs. Larsen (Room 109). Also, there will be a mandatory meeting for all BPA members and those interested in joining, the last 15 minutes of lunch TODAY in Mrs. Larsen’s Room (Room 109).
The Sci-Fi club is sponsoring the 4th Annual Short Story Writing Contest. Entries must be turned in to Mr. Ormond no later than December 1st. Stories must be 3-10 pages long with minimal gore and NO foul language. Must be an original piece; NO fan fiction will be accepted. Winners will be announced at the Christmas assembly and cash prizes will be given for the top 3 stories. Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor!
TEDDY BEAR PROJECT
Lewiston State Bank is having a stuffed-animal drive to benefit children who are victims of abuse and traumatic experiences and donating them to the Family Place and CAPSA. Please bring an unused, new stuffed animal by December 8th to the office or take it to the local Lewiston State Bank branch.

Apply now for the Idaho Science and Aerospace Scholars (ISAS) program! This Dual Credit online course will guide you through the history and internal functions of NASA space exploration and Idaho STEM professions. Students will explore STEM careers and interact with Idaho scientists, engineers, and other STEM professionals. Applications are due this FRIDAY. See counselors for more info.
