PHS Senior Events 

GRADUATION TICKETS: 

Preston High School Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 23rd, at 7:00 PM. If the weather permits, we will have graduation on the football field, or in the case of bad weather in the gymnasium. Each student will be given 10 - “Blue” and 5 - “Gold” tickets. Blue tickets provide admission to the football field and gymnasium. Gold tickets provide admission to just the football field. Tickets may be picked up at the office beginning May 13th.  

CHECK OUT: 

Monday, May 20th, Seniors attend each class, turn in textbooks, check out at the library and cafeteria. Diplomas will not be given if your senior has any fees that need to be paid, and/or any library books, classroom books, or athletic uniforms that need to be turned in. Laptop computers are to be turned in on this day, May 20th, in the library. 

SENIOR ASSEMBLY: 

Our PHS senior assembly for the graduating class of 2024 will be Tuesday, May 21st, 9:00 – 9:55 PM. Seniors need to be in the auditorium by 8:00 AM. for a full run-through in their best dress. If seniors are participating in the “Final Countdown” please arrive at 7:30 AM. for further instruction. 

SENIOR LAGOON TRIP: 

Senior Lagoon trip will be Wednesday, May 22nd. The cost will be $60 per student, which will be due to the office by Monday, May 20th. Students are required to ride the bus to and from Lagoon-NO EXCEPTIONS! The bus will load on the East side of the school at 8:15 AM- Bus will leave Lagoon at 4:00 PM. 

SENIOR SUNSET: 

Wednesday, May 22nd, from 8:00-10:00 PM. on the track field. There will be yard games and food. 

GRADUATION PRACTICE: 

Practice for graduation will be held Thursday, May 23rd, at 9:00 AM. It will take as long as necessary to get the ceremony mastered.  

GRADUATION: 

Graduation will be on Thursday, May 23rd. The football gates will open at 6:00 PM, no earlier. Graduates meet under the bleachers at 6:20 PM. Graduation starts promptly at 7:00 PM. on the football field. If the weather is poor, the graduation ceremony will be moved to the gymnasium.  

AFTER GRADUATION: If all fines and fees have been paid for, graduates will be given their diploma under the bleachers! The cover they are given on stage is EMPTY!
